I mean, about the teeth. False teeth? Anyway, the other two that we thought had broken through yesterday are not broken through yet. He must have been just working on them pretty hard. They are definitely about to pop…stay tuned…

Marie discovered croutons the other day and we had them again tonight. She kept asking for more but she couldn’t get the word right and asked for froucons. She didn’t even seem to mind that we were laughing so hard at her!

Brian cut two more teeth today, we think. He does not want anyone poking around in there! I think the other front bottom tooth is out and one of his top front teeth. He has been suffering because of them. Last night he was up every couple hours and he’s been cranky and fussy when I try to put him down. Tylenol seems to help. Tonight he got tylenol and oragel and some extra rocking by Daddy and now he’s finally sleeping peacefully.

He’s been working on it for a couple days, but this morning I put my finger in there and I can feel it. It’s a sharp little thing. It’s the bottom one on his right.

Today, Marie got her own potty at the store. To this point, we’ve only had one of those inserts that sits on a normal toilet seat. Well, we brought it home, and all she wanted to do was to sit on it. All day. “_Sometimes, you have to wait_” she says. Well, good news–she used it, quite a few times! #1 and #2. She is *so* proud of herself, and we are proud too! Today, Brian was baptized at the 9:30 service at “our church”:http://www.centreville-umc.org. The service was really nice–the entire service focused on baptism and water. Unfortunately as concerned parents we were both a little preoccupied to capture the full message. Luckily we have the video. Anyway, Brian looked really cute in his white baptism suit!

Our little Brian is growing so fast! At his checkup today, he weighed 18 pounds 10 ounces and was 27 inches tall. Or, long I guess. He is happy and healthy!

We had a good turnout for our “caroling party”:http://www.evite.com/pmhesse@geminisecurity.com/carolingparty8 tonight. Marie got to eat lots of cookies, icing, candy, and… went to bed at 11:30pm. Her normal bedtime is 8pm. This does not bode well for tomorrow…

Brian had his first meal of “solid” food today. It’s in quotes because if you’ve ever seen infant rice cereal, the texture seems far from what we’d call solid. Anyway, he ate it like a champ. Devoured more like it. Check the photo gallery for some pictures!
